Indianapolis Fire Station Headquarters is welcoming #Ukrainian firefighters! 💪
We met the representatives of a fire station and learned everything about their work and equipment. Sure, our firefighters @roman.kachanov.ua @oskachko @nachkar393 @chernomor.a.a tried a firetruck themselves! 🚒
Another cute moment was meeting Chinese group and getting their support. New day — new helpful experience! 👨🚒🇺🇸🇺🇦

It was an incredible honor for the #Ukrainian #firefighters @oskachko @roman.kachanov.ua @nachkar393 @chernomor.a.a to visit the 911 Connection Center, where police officers and rescuers collaborate. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the guys, especially @chernomor.a.a, who works in the Ukrainian fire department’s communication division 📲
After a lengthy discussion, maximal in-depth examination of all processes, and a mutual exchange of knowledge, we can gladly report that Ukrainian firefighters presented themselves to their American colleagues at a high level and imparted their experience of working in war conditions.
We really appreciate the emergency services’ hospitality and wish them patience in their hard work! 🙏🏻

APRIL 27, 2023
Our #Ukrainian firefighters recently participated in the @fdicindy 2023 H.O.T., the largest gathering of firefighters in the world. In a few words, they said it’s an unforgettable experience! 🔥
All the participants tackled grueling challenges, learned new techniques, and worked alongside some of the world’s most experienced and skilled firefighters. They shared their knowledge and experience and forged bonds of friendship and camaraderie that would last a lifetime. For example, they worked in conditions after the accident or practiced reconnaissance, fire extinguishing, and searching for people in smoky rooms. Sometimes dirty, exhausted, but excited — all these photos can prove it! 🚒
Our firefighters were fond of the training programs and equipment they used, and they definitely will return home stronger, more skilled, and more proud to be part of the firefighting family!

Ukrainian firefighters @roman.kachanov.ua @nachkar393 @chernomor.a.a @oskachko are already in the @fdicindy training and classes! They came a long way to meet the best of the best American professionals in a firefighting area! 🚒
Yesterday was the first H.O.T. day, and our guys are exhausted but happy! This event contains only a few topics and locations presented at FDIC International. Firefighters attending these H.O.T. Evolutions not only become better professionals, but the information they take back to their hometown departments has an exponential impact on the overall safety of countless communities worldwide. It`s crucial for Ukrainian firefighters nowadays!
We have big plans to present with our community and Ukrainian heroes participating in a general exhibition! See you there 🙌

We welcome Ukrainian firefighters Roman Kachanov, Serhii Bilous, and Oleksii Chernomorchenko to the United States! 🇺🇸🇺🇦 We are glad to have them here and fortunate to provide them with training, meetings, excursions, and our undivided attention during their stay.
Our organization has worked tirelessly to bring this group of Ukrainian firefighters to the United States for over two months. We’ve worked together to prepare all the necessary documents and find various activities for them. Our big dream has finally become a reality! 🙌
During their two weeks visit, our Ukrainian guests will have the opportunity to network with firefighters from around the world and share their experience and knowledge about working in a warzone, attend educational meetings, workshops, and training sessions taught by top industry specialists, and participate in truly remarkable events, such as the FDIC conference.
People must learn more about the situation in Ukraine, and we will do our best to give these guys international support. Let’s make this an unforgettable experience for our Ukrainian heroes! 🙏
Join us in supporting our Ukrainian firefighters and help make a difference!

We practically burst out in excitement at the fantastic news, Ukrainian firefighters are coming to the USA! 🇺🇸 🇺🇦
For over 2️⃣ months, the Help Ukrainian Firefighters in Need group and Polsky Foundation team worked to prepare the trip so that the defenders could come to America, attend the @fdicindy conference, receive training, and share their experiences with American firefighters. It took a lot of back-and-forth with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and other high-ranking Ukrainian Firefighters in Kharkiv and Kyiv to make it happen. Finally, dreams came true!
🧑🚒Three Ukrainian firefighters, Roman, Serhii, and Oleksiy, are currently in Poland. They’ve approved their visas and are just waiting for all the documents! We look forward to seeing them in the USA!
Some interesting facts:
▫️ Roman’s family lived in Poland and is now reunited after being separated for nearly a year.
▫️ Oleksiy’s family lives in Germany. He’s so excited to be able to visit them on the return trip from the US.
▫️ Serhii’s family is currently in Ukraine. They’re glad he can take this journey to share his experience and knowledge and excitedly await his return!
It’s going to be an exciting and rewarding experience! 🙌

Great news! We are very thankful to our partners at @mabasillinois (Mutual Aid Box Alarm System), which offers a statewide mutual aid response system for fire, EMS, and specialized incident response teams. We received a significant donation for Ukrainian firefighters in need. All the special equipment they donated, especially fire hoses, are very helpful for rescuers in hot spots! 👨🚒
👉 In a week, we hope to have this shipment out the door. Now we are working hard to send the cargo as soon as possible!
We are grateful for every donation and help!
MARCH 23, 2023
We and all of Ukraine will not stand for assault on our civilians and rescuers. Civilians being shelled is a war crime 🙏
Russian shelling in the Kharkiv region recently destroyed four private homes, a main building, and two vehicles of the State Emergency Service fire department in Vovchansk. Vehicles used for no purpose but to help those in need.
Yet despite the loss of these invaluable resources our firefighters continue to put their lives on the line for others.
Take a look at these pictures to see how vigilant the firefighters were. We stand with them and will use every effort to aid in the unit’s recovery.
Any donation you’re able to make to help their cause helps us all. Unbreakable Ukrainians! 🔥
MARCH 18, 2023
Thank you, firefighter professionals, for responding to our requests and supporting Ukrainian heroes! We recently received a huge truckload of aid resources from #polofireman, #dixonfiredepartment, @perthamboyfire @perthamboyfireofficers, @sublettecountyunifiedfire and #elburnfiredepartment. You guys are amazing!
We are continuing to help Ukrainian firefighters and #standwithukraine together 🇺🇸 🇺🇦

Hey, meet Ash, our great friend and supporter! He actively participates in the hunt for specialized equipment and its delivery to our warehouses.
This is an example of the donation process for more than 40 customized cylinders for our Ukrainian colleagues 👨🚒
Happy to have such mates! @ashseiter, many thanks once more 🧡

Ukraine suffers fire and despair daily. As brave and selfless as Ukrainian firefighters have been, they need our help. And as Americans, we have the opportunity to give just that.
Resources are stretched thin, and firefighters require an additional 5,000 pieces of equipment and thousands of unique tools, according to official Ukrainian sources, to assure the safety of every town, including those in de-occupied territories.
Our team is doing everything possible to support the Ukrainian rescues. We are so proud and thankful for how so many have come together for this cause:
▫️ American fire stations supplying protective gear and humanitarian aid.
▫️ We are working on a project allowing Ukrainian and American firefighters to train together.
▫️ Active sharing of vital information about the situation in Ukraine on all platforms available in the US.
The SES in Ukraine will concentrate on planning volunteer fire brigades’ activities in 2023. It’s time to help and outfit recruits with the tools they need! With your support, we can make all these goals and more happen.
🙏

On International Women’s Day we want to highlight the many women heroes in Ukraine! 👩🚒
In 2019 there was only one female firefighter in the country but today, rising to the call of duty, so many more have joined the fight. From in the field (want to confirm that’s correct and they do fight fires as well) to managing logistics, accepting appeals and offering support. Women of Ukraine have bolstered the ranks of our heroic firefighters 🚒
We want to honor the strong women of Ukraine and the world on this lovely spring day, and know your support will help them save countless lives!
Stay safe and strong! 💐
MARCH 9, 2023
The invasion of Ukraine by Russia began on February 24, 2022. During this time, missile and bomb strikes occur on cities and essential infrastructure. Schools, hospitals, and homes are being attacked. Patrons from Ukraine and abroad, businesspeople, and members of civic society have banded together to support the country’s defenders and civilians who are tenaciously repelling the aggressor 🙏
⚡️ When the war began, the occupiers destroyed or seized more than 1,300 emergency vehicles. The remaining 54% of automobiles are both morally and technologically outmoded. The availability of safety gear is another issue.
It is our responsibility to provide all essential assistance. Please get in touch with us if you can purchase these things! ⬆️
Volunteers are the heart and soul of any organization. They are our heroes and welcoming team members. They are the ones who volunteer many hours of their time, contribute financially, or lend a hand whenever it is possible. They have made an invaluable and much-appreciated contribution.
We thank everyone who worked with us to support Ukrainian firefighters in their heroic struggle.
We are constantly appreciative of new people that assist us. And you are very welcome to join us!
Please feel free to contact us!

We are Ukrainian Americans who are worried about the citizens of our Motherland. To help Ukrainian firefighters, we are making a lot of effort.
We aim to supply the rescue teams with all the required specialized equipment. We can help because we want to and have the time. We are working with American officiants and firefighters professionals who bravely put their warm hearts and wisdom into supporting the brotherhood in Ukraine. We are also grateful for the industry experts in this field and donors helping our heroes.
Hundreds of firefighters battle fire, explosions, and bombs daily, particularly in the eastern part of Ukraine. And they rely on our assistance!
We accept the PPE, cylinders, gloves, safety gear, and medications and deliver them to Ukraine to help the courageous Ukrainian firefighters. And you can join us by addressing the needs of Ukrainian FF to the local Fire departments in the USA.
We are accepting everything!

It has been 12 months since Russia invaded Ukraine — one of the most horrifying historical episodes. The Ukrainian people have been engaged in a ferocious year-long war for their freedom, rights, and country. One year has passed since practically the entire globe came together, heard us, and offered assistance 🙏
Since the start of the war in Ukraine, first responders have made roughly 80,800 visits to remove the effects of shelling, put out about 14,000 fires, rescued more than 3,500 people, and given 201,543 people psychological support.
🧑🚒 Firefighters are now primarily focused on the daily fight for the lives and safety of the Ukrainian people. We are still actively providing resources, equipment and assistance to our heroes, and we plan to do so as much as possible.
Thank you for the year of support and looking forward to the victory! Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦🇺🇸

Today we want to introduce you to our volunteers. This is Yana @woman_from_greenleaf_street a beautiful Ukrainian girl, successful, persistent and kind person who have been living in America for many years, she is from eastern Ukraine, Donetsk..There are not enough words to describe the scale of ruins being left by russians army…but now not about that, but about the fact that Yana could not just watch, she initiated the idea of raising funds for our defenders, participated in logistics, communicated with firefighters in the States, to collect and send the most necessary equipment, continues to work hard and attract as many resources to the fund https://gofund.me/b607e6a4

“Good evening, we are from Ukraine!” A small, but extremely capacious, powerful and well-known greeting of our Motherland, which, unfortunately, appeared during the brutal, unjust, barbaric war of russia against Ukraine
During this difficult time, we have witnessed the creation of many wonderful art installations, unions, initiatives, etc., and lots of countries have supported us. America is not left out either, this is what the post is about. We are very proud to introduce you to an initiative created by Ukrainian volunteers living in Chicago. A team of volunteers has organized fundraising for equipment for Ukrainian firefighters who professionally do their job saving the lives of thousands of Ukrainians every day
A lot of work has already been done and, thanks to our friends in the United States, Ukrainian firefighters in the hottest spots have received the necessary stuff!
We decided to be more open to the world in order to attract more people from all over the world. In the following publications, we will tell you in more detail about our activities, participants, and their daily activities.
In the meantime, we are adding an article about us for fox32chicago.com
Glory to Ukraine!
